As per instructions, officials carried out inspections of baggage arrivin
g from Sharjah by PIA flight No PK-194. Three suspected suitcases were taken into custody from the passenger baggage hall from which staff discovered 548 foreign origin mobile phones of assorted brands. The phones were estimated to be worth a collective Rs 6 million.
No one came forward to claim ownership of the mobile phones though authorities have registered an FIR of the case with efforts being made to arre
st the culprits.
