ISLAMABAD: The Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Nisar
on Tuesday summoned sugar mill owners from across the country to appear before the Supreme Court on April 26.
A three-judge bench, headed by Justice Nisar while consisting of Justice Umar Ata Bandial and Justice Sajjad Ali Shah, conducted hearing of non-payments to sugarcane gr
owers case.
In his remarks, the CJP summoned sugar mill owners to present themselves before the
apex court in personal capacity and record an explanatio
n over the matter.
A notice has also been issued to all respondents pertaining the matter.
